Need a last minute Thanksgiving side dish?? These Sauteed Brussels Sprouts with Bacon Onions and Walnuts have got you covered! They’re quick and easy to make and super delicious!
I noticed a recurring trend in many of the side dishes I shared this season – bacon is a crowning jewel.
I shared this White Cheddar Cauliflower Gratin finished with bacon, this Slow Cooker Creamed Corn finished with bacon, this Pear Bacon and Brussels Sprout Salad, and now these sauteed brussels sprouts with bacon.
Why bacon in all of them? Because bacon makes everything better.
Really though these brussels sprouts are just that much better with the bacon, onions, and walnuts. More flavors, more textures and more happy well fed people :).
And these aren’t just for Thanksgiving obviously – they’d make a great side dish to any number of main entrees this season. Or just eat a heaping bowl of this for lunch, that’s cool too.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope you have a memorable day with family and friends!
