London start-up that uses AI and drones to ‘simulate reality’ secures £3m


A computer vision start-up that uses drones to simulate reality for construction projects has raised £3.3m in seed funding to expand to the US.

London-based SenSat expects to launch in San Francisco having grown to a team of 30. Its client list already includes accountants PwC, Highways England and real estate giant CBRE.

SenSat’s technology simulates reality using 3D images for construction projects. Rather than relying on satellite imagery or still photographs, SenSat uses autonomous drones to create a computerised map of the area.
