Anti-Semitic posts deleted from ‘alt-right social network’ following Microsoft crackdown


Anti-Semitic posts on controversial social network Gab have been removed following a crackdown on hate speech by Microsoft. 

Gab is a social network popular with far-right internet users who have been banned from Twitter. The site has resisted any kind of moderation of posts by its users, instead calling itself a “free speech social network”.

On Thursday, Gab published an email that it received from Microsoft, its hosting provider through the Microsoft Azure service.

Microsoft asked Gab to remove two posts on its site from Patrick Little, a US Senate candidate who recently announced that he plans to create a regional capital that will oppose Jewish and left-wing people.
